How to best make use of integration

Our BP integration is now live.

If you’d like to get your clinic ready in advance, please forward the instructions below to your Practice Manager:

From the main Best Practice screen:

  1. Click Setup

  2. Click Configuration

  3. Click Database

  4. Click Setup Third-Party Integration

  5. Select MBSPro from the list and ensure the checkbox is ticked

⚠️ Important:

BP integration is only available to MBSPro Premium users. You must upgrade to the Premium version before this feature becomes accessible. Each account setup requires a $15 integration fee/ month to cover secure verification.

✅ Quick Steps to Integrate:

  1. Log in to your MBSPro account.

  2. Navigate to:
    Settings → BP Integration

  3. Fill in the required details:

    • Site ID (Minor ID): You’ll find this at the bottom-left of your Best Practice login screen.

    • Full Name: This must exactly match how your name appears in your BP diary.

    • Practice Manager’s Email: Used for integration verification.

    • Provider Number: As registered with Medicare.

  4. Decide whether to enable Pre-Consult Questionnaires.

    • If you're using BetterConsult, we recommend leaving this OFF to avoid sending patients multiple texts.

  5. Click Integrate to submit your setup.

📩 What Happens Next?

Once submitted, your integration status will appear as “Pending Approval.”
Our team will verify your details and activate the connection shortly after confirmation.
