Using the pre-consult and waiting room

The Preconsult: Engaging Patients Before Their Visit

The pre-consult feature allows patients to share their consult goals ahead of time, enhancing the efficiency and personalization of each visit. This can be done by:

  • Sending a Link via Text — Easily message the pre-consult link through systems like HotDoc or Automed.

  • Displaying a QR Code in Your Waiting Room — Patients can scan the code and complete the pre-consult form while they wait.

Key Features of the Pre-consult:

  • Medication Review Alerts — If a patient indicates they’re on five or more medications, they’ll be reminded of the need for a medication review.

  • Automatic Health Assessments & Care Plan Bookings — Based on responses, patients can be automatically flagged for health assessments or care plans.
