The Preconsult: Engaging Patients Before Their Visit
The pre-consult feature allows patients to share their consult goals ahead of time, enhancing the efficiency and personalization of each visit. This can be done by:
Sending a Link via Text — Easily message the pre-consult link through systems like HotDoc or Automed.
Displaying a QR Code in Your Waiting Room — Patients can scan the code and complete the pre-consult form while they wait.
Key Features of the Pre-consult:
Medication Review Alerts — If a patient indicates they’re on five or more medications, they’ll be reminded of the need for a medication review.
Automatic Health Assessments & Care Plan Bookings — Based on responses, patients can be automatically flagged for health assessments or care plans.
Setting Up the Pre-consult Link & QR Code
Locate the "Copy" icon on the upper right hand
and the Pre-consult link will appear.Copy and paste this link into your messaging software to send it directly to patients.
Using the QR Code; locate the QR icon click it and it will automatically downloads your pre-consult questionnaire in pdf form.
